Tea Party Patriots Action Slam Clinton Campaign, Media over Campaign Spy Allegations

Tea Party Patriots Action slammed members of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the media, after Special Counsel John Durham filed a motion that detailed Clinton’s team paid individuals to “infiltrate” servers in Trump Tower and the White House.

The filing comes after former President Donald Trump made similar statements in the past; however, members of the media quickly dismissed the claims.

The court document is related to charges against Michael Sussmann, a lawyer for the Democrats and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. He is being accused of making false statements to a federal agent.

“This latest court filing is beyond shocking. The extent to which Donald Trump’s opponents were willing to go to smear him in the service of Hillary Clinton’s highest campaign aspirations is beyond outrageous. Trump said that he was spied on during the 2016 campaign and while he was president. The media scoffed at the time, but it appears Trump was correct. Durham’s new allegations are incredibly disturbing, and the American people deserve to know more,” said TPPA Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin.

Near the end of the 2016 campaign, Clinton tweeted a claim about Trump’s connection to Russia, which is at the center of Durham’s investigation

Trump, who appointed Durham to investigate the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, also commented on the findings:

“The latest pleading from Special Counsel Robert Durham provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia. This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution.”
